Job summary

KBR in Jacksonville, FL is looking for a Mobile Load Supervisor to plan, direct and supervise daily mobile loading operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely movement of materials, equipment and cargo.

You will oversee personnel, coordinate equipment usage, enforce safety standards, and work with operations, maintenance and logistics to meet production goals while complying with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years in mobile loading, heavy equipment operations, transportation, logistics, or material handling.
• 1–2 years supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily mobile loading and material handling operations.
• Plan and assign work to equipment operators and loading crews.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental requirements, and SOPs.
• Conduct daily safety briefings, toolbox talks, and shift turnover meetings.
• Monitor loading operations to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate equipment availability with maintenance personnel and report deficiencies.
• Ensure operators complete required pre- and post-operational inspections.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate employees to improve performance.
• Maintain accurate operational reports, production records, and logs.
• Coordinate with dispatch, warehouse, transportation, and customers to meet requirements.
• Ensure proper cargo loading and weight distribution.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
