Job summary

KBR is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) based in Jacksonville, FL. You will organize and lead maintenance activities for light/medium wheeled vehicles, ensuring readiness and compliance with specifications and safety policies.

You must have 8 years related experience, including 2 in supervision, and possess an relevant degree or equivalent training. US citizenship and a Secret Clearance are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree and/or coursework toward a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline is preferred.
• 8 years of directly related work experience including 2 years of supervisory experience in a motor transport environment.
• Completion of motor transport maintenance officer course or equivalent.
• Ability to review and apply technical specifications and requirements.
• Ability to analyze equipment and forecast spare parts requirements.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead day-to-day activities of one or more maintenance departments or functions.
• Ensure equipment readiness and maintenance shop organization; manage maintenance assets.
• Direct maintenance personnel and supervise training to ensure proper skills.
• Determine work sequence and assignments to optimize equipment and personnel utilization.
• Maintain inventory of repair parts and requisition replacements as needed.
• Coordinate department activities with other departments to meet schedules.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
