Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance team in Huntington, IN, ensuring uptime, safety, and compliance. You will drive preventive/corrective maintenance, supervise technicians, and coordinate with production to optimize schedules.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in maintenance, 2+ years in leadership, and strong mechanical/electrical knowledge. Familiarity with SAP and lean practices is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 5+ years in a heavy manufacturing maintenance role.
• 2+ years in a supervisory role managing technicians.
• Strong knowledge of machinery, equipment, and systems (CNC, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics).
• Proficient with SAP and MS Office; safety and regulatory compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead maintenance team; provide guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
• Schedule and prioritize maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency.
• Ensure training on equipment, safety procedures, and maintenance best practices.
• Drive MOS maintenance program; reduce equipment failures.
• Supervise corrective maintenance; troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Maintain records of repairs, schedules, and downtime for continuous improvement.
• Drive PM compliance and 5S programs; implement lean techniques to improve capacity.
• Monitor equipment condition and ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Manage spare parts inventory and procurement of maintenance supplies.
• Collaborate with production to minimize impact on schedules; report performance to upper management.
