Fairfield Residential in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team dedicated to keeping our communities safe, beautiful, and fully operational. You’ll perform hands-on maintenance and provide leadership to ensure resident satisfaction and property preservation.

The role requires HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry expertise, plus supervisory experience and familiarity with Yardi.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC-EPA (Type II) or EPA Universal certification.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred; must obtain within 90 days if not.
• Three+ years of hands-on apartment or building maintenance experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Experience with Yardi or similar property management software.
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair.
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• A valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform maintenance repairs across the property.
• Schedule and monitor preventative maintenance programs.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
• Manage service requests using Yardi or similar software.
• Maintain budgets and inventory for maintenance supplies.
• Ensure compliance with safety and company policies.
• Lead and develop a diverse maintenance team.
• Provide feedback and coaching for performance improvement.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to residents.
