Job summary

Fairfield Residential in Irving, TX is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a team responsible for keeping our community safe, clean, and fully operational. You will perform hands-on maintenance and lead daily activities to ensure resident satisfaction and property preservation.

The role requires HVAC, EPA certifications, and a track record in apartment maintenance, plus supervisory experience and proficiency with Yardi.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC-EPA (Type II) or EPA Universal certification required.
• CPO certification strongly preferred; may require within 90 days if not held.
• 3+ years hands-on apartment/building maintenance experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Experience with Yardi or similar property management software.
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair.
• English proficiency; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform maintenance repairs across the property.
• Schedule and monitor preventative maintenance programs.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
• Manage service requests using Yardi or similar software.
• Maintain budgets and inventory for maintenance supplies.
• Ensure compliance with safety and company policies.
• Lead and develop a diverse maintenance team.
• Provide feedback and coaching for performance improvement.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to residents.
