Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team across our Plano properties, overseeing day-to-day tasks and ensuring safe, well-maintained living spaces. You will coordinate activities, manage on-call rotations, and ensure compliance with building codes while delivering exceptional resident service.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of custodial/maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing, electrical work.
• Valid driver's license required.
• HVAC CFC certification required or willingness to learn.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.
• Strong communication with team and residents for excellent service.
• Ability to read and understand policies and procedures including safety policies.
• Knowledge of SDS and safe chemical handling; PPE usage.
• Understanding of emergency systems, shutoffs, and sequence of operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the maintenance team, guiding daily tasks and projects.
• Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities and optimize resource use.
• Foster a culture of safety, excellence, and teamwork among staff.
• Perform and oversee HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and appliance repairs.
• Conduct regular property inspections and implement preventative maintenance.
• Assist in budget preparation and cost control for maintenance ops.
• Respond to on-call emergency maintenance requests and ensure resident safety.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
