Job summary

DTN is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team, manage preventive maintenance, and oversee budgets and vendor contracts. The role includes supervising staff, coordinating repairs, and ensuring high-quality service to residents.

The position requires HVAC expertise, EPA certification, and strong communication skills to interact with residents, coworkers, and vendors. On-site role with some after-hours on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or equivalent work experience.
• HVAC knowledge and EPA certification are required.
• Experience supervising a maintenance team is preferred.
• Strong communication, both verbal and written, with residents, coworkers, and vendors.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals and company documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance team and plan daily activities.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and discipline direct reports.
• Recommend property needs and schedule capital projects within budget.
• Manage repairs, move-ins, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Oversee site safety, inspections, and quality of service.
• Maintain grounds, perform resident work orders, and respond to on-call emergencies.
• Operate building systems including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC.
