Job summary

DTN Management Company in Troy, MI seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team, manage budgets, and ensure high-quality service. You will oversee building systems, vendor contracts, and safety, with a focus on responsive resident service and preventive maintenance.

The role requires 4+ years in maintenance, HVAC/EPA credentials, and supervisory experience. A proactive, communicative leader who can train staff and schedule capital projects is ideal.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in maintenance or trades
• HVAC knowledge with EPA certification
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Proactive in safety and regulatory compliance
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct maintenance team activities
• Hire, train, evaluate and discipline direct reports
• Recommend capital replacements and maintenance improvements
• Schedule repairs, turnover and capital projects within budget
• Plan daily/weekly/monthly strategies for service and site inspections
• Perform resident work orders daily
• Maintain grounds and perform seasonal weather tasks
• Inspect pool/spa water chemistry and related repairs
• Ensure organized, clean and safe work area
• Adhere to safety standards and regulations
• Maintain building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry)
• Conduct regular site inspections to uphold DTN standards
• Support Fair Housing requirements and confidentiality
• Respond to after-hours emergencies on a rotation
