Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance/Facilities Associate in Albuquerque, NM to oversee and perform technical and mechanical tasks ensuring buildings and grounds meet cleanliness and safety standards. You will handle work orders, inspections, and make-ready processes for leasing and ongoing maintenance.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent, experience in maintenance, and a focus on safety, quality, and resident service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Incumbents must provide own hand tools and use them safely.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to diagnose problems.
• Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to read and write clearly to support team operations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and diagnose and repair issues following policy and safety standards.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant apartments and coordinate with vendors.
• Establish cleanliness/appearance standards for grounds, exteriors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Periodically inspect work by team members and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and order supplies as needed within budget.
• Conduct monthly preventative maintenance and assist in budget development for repairs.
