Job summary

CJ Schwan’s in Sioux Falls, SD is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a high‑performing maintenance team at our new Asian-style frozen food plant. You will direct reactive, corrective, preventive maintenance and help advance Asset Optimization with planning, scheduling, and defect elimination.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in maintenance with 2+ years in leadership, knowledge of electrical, mechanical and automation systems, and experience with SAP.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience, including 2+ years of maintenance leadership.
• Knowledge of general construction, electrical, electronic, mechanical systems and CMMS.
• Experience with SAP and safety, EPA/USDA sanitation standards preferred.
• Previous supervisor experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee reactive, corrective, planned and condition-based maintenance.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to assign resources.
• Track maintenance KPIs and report to site leadership.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analyses to reduce breakdowns.
• Contribute to equipment strategy improvements using data.
