Job summary

Nevada HAND is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician in Las Vegas, NV to support the maintenance team at our Decatur Commons Senior property. The role involves keeping the property in excellent condition, handling service requests, and coordinating with staff and residents.

HVAC and pool certifications must be obtained to progress, and on-call availability is required. The ideal candidate has at least six months of maintenance experience, strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC

Qualifications

• Minimum six (6) months of experience in property maintenance.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Skills in carpentry, roofing, and other general construction-related items.
• HVAC certification and pool certification must be obtained to progress.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist the maintenance team with on-site functions and maintain the property’s condition.
• Complete service requests on a timely basis and post notices.
• Perform maintenance on gates, fixtures, doors, windows, laundry facilities, pool equipment, and appliances.
• Notify Senior Technicians of necessary supplies or parts.
• Maintain safe, organized storage and tool areas.
• Adhere to safety programs and contribute to the property’s annual budget by monitoring expenses.
