You will interview and train staff, manage work orders, perform inspections, assist with budgeting, and respond to guest concerns with professionalism. A high school diploma and 3+ years of technical work plus supervisory experience are required; after-hours on-call

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct technical maintenance experience in plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
• Willing to be on call for emergencies after hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of maintenance staff and ensure safe work practices.
• Interview candidates, train new employees, and conduct reviews.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document findings in a log.
• Review and delegate work orders promptly.
• Conduct regular property inspections.
• Monitor community mechanical equipment and grounds upkeep.
• Ensure service requests are handled promptly and courteously.
• Assist with annual community budget for maintenance projects.
• Operate within the approved budget and allocate funds accordingly.
• Communicate professionally with management and staff.
• Respond to guest concerns with respect and courtesy.
• Attend training programs and participate in community activities.
• Support capital improvement projects and special maintenance tasks.
• Provide on-call emergency services as required.
