Job summary

Greystar is seeking aMaintenance Technician to oversee maintenance for the community, manage resident service requests, and ensure safety and quality in all common areas.

The role includes completing the make-ready process for vacant units, coordinating vendors, conducting inspections, and maintaining inventory while working within budget and policy guidelines. Strong attention to safety and customer service is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manages work orders generated from resident requests for service and routine upkeep by diagnosing defects and performing repairs according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Oversees and completes the make-ready process to prep vacant apartments for leasing, including pre-move-out inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Develops standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, building exteriors, interiors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Periodically inspects work by staff and contractors, and implements corrective actions as needed.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and tools; orders supplies as needed to stay within budget.
