Job summary

Responsibilities

• Direct and coach employees.
• Lead day-to-day operations of the facilities effectively and efficiently.
• Recruit, hire, promote, and terminate as needed.
• Staffing levels and shift schedules aligned with workload.
• Foster morale through feedback, recognition and rewards.
• Conduct shift start-up meetings and share safety, production and HR updates.
• Own performance reviews and document ratings.
• Communicate with department leaders to disseminate information.
• Identify and prioritize repairs to maintain peak production.
• Create overall shift schedules and serve as back-up for the Manager.
• Approve final payroll in Kronos.
• Identify process improvements for warehouse operations.
• Develop technicians and grow future team leaders.
• Lead annual performance evaluations and corrective actions.
• Establish operational strategy to meet area goals.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Drive safety culture and ensure incident reporting compliance.
