Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to support production through planning and executing maintenance tasks on the plant floor in Holland, MI. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork, with leadership of a maintenance team and focus on problem resolution.

The ideal candidate has extensive maintenance experience, a strong eye for detail, and proficiency with MS Office and precision measurement tools, ready to foster a positive, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university or HS Diploma/GED with 3-5 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Has high standards of performance for self; takes responsibility for actions and outcomes.
• Maintains accuracy, honesty, integrity, and teamwork in daily tasks; resolves conflicts constructively.
• Moves flexibly across plant areas to support flow and responds with urgency to customer needs.
• Proficient with precision measurement tools and basic computer software (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance processes with accuracy and discipline.
• Coach and assist employees with problem solving and training.
• Ensure preventive maintenance is performed on schedule and to quality standards.
• Monitor safety, housekeeping, quality, and performance within the maintenance team.
• Conduct toolbox talks and document training and records.
• Investigate root causes of injuries or near misses and implement corrective actions.
• Support team delivery of daily tasks and maintain positive working relationships.
