Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for the 1st shift at our Byhalia, MS site. You will lead a maintenance team to keep production lines safe and productive while aligning with company culture and safety standards.

You will develop technicians, coordinate with supervisors, and push continuous improvement in warehouse processes, all while maintaining a clean, safe working environment. This role requires strong leadership, quick problem-solving, and a commitment to uptime.

Qualifications

• 1.5 years of maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team to support day-to-day operations and activities of the facilities.
• Works with Supervisor to ensure staffing; acts as back-up when Supervisor is absent.
• Fosters morale with feedback, recognition, and rewards.
• Conducts or delegates shift start-up meetings; communicates culture, safety, production, accuracy, recognition, and HR updates.
• Provides timely communication to department leaders; prioritizes repairs to keep production peak.
• Identifies measures to improve warehouse processes.
• Develops all technicians to meet warehouse standards and regulations.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
• Drives safety and culture and holds team accountable for compliance.
• Acts as go-to person for cohesive technician team across departments.
