Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team on-site at our properties. You will oversee daily maintenance tasks, prepare units for occupancy, and coordinate preventative maintenance while upholding safety standards and ensuring timely responses to service requests.

Ideal candidates have HVAC, plumbing, and electrical knowledge, strong supervisory experience, and a track record in building maintenance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal/external contacts.
• Effective communication skills.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and schedule daily maintenance tasks, including preparing vacant units for occupancy and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with interviewing, screening, and recommending staff with the manager.
• Assist in training of service, housekeeping, custodial, or grounds personnel.
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Initiate process improvements to maintenance methods.
• Ensure OSHA standards and safety policies are followed.
