Job summary

Apartment-Management-Consultants in Bozeman, MT is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our on-site maintenance team, ensuring timely upkeep of buildings and grounds and proactive preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities include scheduling daily tasks, training and supervising service, housekeeping, and grounds staff, coordinating vendor work, maintaining tools and inventory, and enforcing OSHA and safety procedures.

• Ability to operate hand and power tools
• Strong relationship building
• Prior supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform daily maintenance tasks including preparing vacant units and preventative maintenance
• Assist in interviewing, screening and recommending maintenance/housekeeping/grounds staff
• Train service, housekeeping/custodial, and grounds personnel
• Maintain clean and safe work areas, tools and equipment
• Lead process improvements in maintenance methods
• Manage MSDS sheets and replacement logs
• Ensure team attendance and performance, and supervise vendor work
• Oversee inventory, ordering and delivery of supplies for service, custodial and grounds
• Ensure OSHA standards and safety policies are followed
• Respond to on-call service requests and handle lock-outs due to evictions
• Report unusual circumstances about the property or residents
• Remove snow and ice as required
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand
