Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Las Vegas, NV to lead plant maintenance and facility support, with a strong Safety First mindset. You will direct staffing, policy enforcement, budget control, and cost containment.

You will manage a 3-shift, 7-day operation, read hydraulics and electrical schematics, and train the team from onboarding to advanced skills, while coordinating outside contractors and maintaining preventive maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, Management or (or equivalent industry experience) preferred.
• 6 years minimum experience in industrial maintenance.
• Minimum 4 years in a manager role with leadership skills preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment maintenance (hydraulics, pneumatics, motors).
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems.
• Hands-on teamwork and maintenance duties as required.
• Knowledge of ISO elements and their applicability to the department.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing concepts and OSHA requirements.
• Good computer skills in Microsoft Office and related maintenance software.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance staff to support 3-shift / 7-day operation.
• Read hydraulic, electrical, and building trade schematics.
• Perform maintenance duties as required with hands-on participation.
• Use MS Office and maintenance reporting software for tracking.
• Train within the department: onboarding, skills, and external training.
• Manage outside building trades/contractors efficiently.
• Plan, coordinate and implement preventive maintenance system.
• Coach and develop maintenance staff; set priorities and decisions.
• Schedule resources and maintenance staff with good judgment.
