Gene B. Glick Company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to manage on-site maintenance for a 120-unit Richfield Ft. Wayne community.

You will direct the maintenance team, handle repairs to HVAC, electrical and plumbing, and oversee grounds, budget, records and safety practices. The role requires 2–4 years in maintenance, EPA designation/certification preferred, and a valid driver’s license. Fluency in English is required; Spanish is a plus.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; EPA designation/certification preferred.
• Experience maintaining HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems, plumbing and grounds on multi-family or commercial properties.
• Ability to read and understand English; communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, develop and manage overall maintenance operations for the property.
• Supervise maintenance staff and schedule daily activities.
• Assist with maintenance requests, including appliances, HVAC and repairs.
• Maintain grounds, landscaping, parking lots and snow removal.
• Assist in preparation and administration of the maintenance budget.
• Prepare records, invoices, timecards and staffing information.
• Hire, train and develop staff; conduct performance evaluations.
• Bid and supervise major projects, inspect contractor work for quality and cost.
• Purchase supplies cost-effectively and conduct regular safety inspections.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs for structures, systems and equipment.
