Job summary

Elmington Living is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance process for the property, including ordering supplies, diagnosing issues, and performing service requests with strong HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry skills.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in property maintenance, EPA 608 or HVAC certification, and the ability to lead a service team while meeting budget and schedule targets. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• HVAC: EPA Section 608 or HVAC-specific certification required or obtained within 60 days of employment.
• OSHA 10/30 preferred to support safety compliance.
• Plumbing or electrical licenses are advantageous for broader maintenance capability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of the property including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and roof/gutter repairs.
• Order supplies, materials, and tools; manage service staff workload.
• Diagnose problems and perform repairs on major appliances and systems.
• Ensure timely completion of work orders and vacant turns per Elmington standards.
• Communicate effectively with residents and coworkers in all situations.
• Maintain accurate time reporting and comply with company policies.
