Job summary

Arcan Capital, LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee on-site maintenance across our communities. The role includes preparing market-ready apartments, coordinating routine repairs, and supervising maintenance staff to ensure safety and quality for residents.

You will respond to service requests promptly, uphold privacy norms, and coordinate with property management to meet budget goals. The ideal candidate has HVAC/EPA/CPO certifications and 2–5 years of maintenance experience in

Qualifications

HVAC, EPA and/or CPO certifications required.
2–5 years maintenance experience, preferably in multi-family housing.
Supervisory experience preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Prepare Market Ready apartments, including painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, general repairs and housekeeping duties.
Perform routine interior and exterior maintenance as scheduled or on request (painting, snow/ice removal, gutter cleaning, filters, trash compactor).
Repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and other mechanical systems.
Respond promptly and professionally to residents and staff maintenance requests.
Recruit, hire, train and supervise maintenance staff; conduct regular performance appraisals with guidance from Property Manager.
Perform on-call emergency procedures as required.
Report budget-impacting maintenance issues to the manager.
Schedule and perform preventative maintenance; keep records.
Maintain compliance with state, local, and federal housing laws and OSHA safety requirements.
Attend required meetings and training programs.
