Job summary

Arcan Capital is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance team, oversee repairs, groundskeeping, and preventative maintenance across our apartment communities. You will ensure safety, quality, and timely service in a hands-on leadership role.

Candidates should have 2–5 years in maintenance, HVAC/EPA/CPO certifications, and strong customer service. The position offers growth, competitive compensation, and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and training skills.
• 2–5 years of maintenance experience in multi-family housing.
• HVAC, EPA, and/or CPO certifications required.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Willing to work on-call, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to manage service requests and oversee repairs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare market-ready apartments (painting, carpet repairs, cleaning) for move-ins.
• Oversee interior/exterior maintenance: snow removal, HVAC servicing, plumbing, electrical, carpentry.
• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests with professional service.
• Recruit, train, supervise maintenance staff with the Property Manager.
• Implement preventative maintenance schedules; ensure safety compliance.
• Manage vendor relationships for landscaping, painting, asphalt work.
• Maintain resident privacy and deliver superior customer service.
• Adhere to housing laws, fair housing and OSHA standards.
