Job summary

Arcan Capital, LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance team, oversee repairs, groundskeeping, and preventative maintenance across apartment communities.

You will mentor staff, manage interior and exterior maintenance, respond to resident requests with excellent service, and ensure safety/regulatory compliance. The role requires strong technical skills and leadership to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• Strong technical expertise in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Proven leadership and training skills to mentor and develop maintenance staff.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications and maintenance management software.
• Flexibility to work on-call, weekends, and holidays, with adherence to OSHA and housing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare market-ready apartments with painting, carpet repairs, cleaning and general maintenance for high-quality move-in experience.
• Oversee routine interior and exterior maintenance, HVAC servicing, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff, ensuring timely resolution.
• Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance team members, with coaching and performance evaluations.
• Implement and track preventative maintenance schedules while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Manage vendor relationships for contracted services like landscaping, painting, and asphalt work.
• Maintain resident privacy and deliver superior customer service at all times.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal housing laws, fair housing regulations, and OSHA safety standards.
