Job summary

Arcan Capital seeks a proactive Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance team across multiple apartment communities. You will oversee repairs, preventive maintenance, groundskeeping, and safety compliance while delivering high-quality resident experiences.

The role requires hands-on leadership and strong technical expertise in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, with the ability to train staff and manage vendors. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities await.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC, EPA, and/or CPO certifications preferred.
• 2–5 years of maintenance experience recommended, preferably in multi-family housing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare market-ready apartments and perform routine interior and exterior maintenance.
• Oversee and perform maintenance tasks including HVAC servicing, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally.
• Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance staff with guidance from the Property Manager.
• Implement and track preventative maintenance schedules ensuring safety compliance.
• Manage vendor relationships for services like landscaping, painting, and asphalt work.
• Uphold resident privacy and deliver superior customer service.
• Adhere to housing laws, fair housing regulations, and OSHA standards.
