Work schedule is M-F 8-5 with on-call premium; the community serves income-qualified residents and offers opportunities for certification training. The position emphasizes customer service and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• HVAC/EPA Certified required.
• Ability to adhere to work safety program.
• Ability to perform all duties including lifting, climbing, standing, bending, loading/unloading, and working outdoors in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical problems.
• Assemble, install and repair wiring, electrical or electronic components.
• Assemble pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and equipment.
• Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools to precision measuring instruments and testing devices.
• Complete work orders.
• Order parts as necessary.
• Recording type and cost of repair work.
