Qualifications

• Ability to perform all duties including lifting, climbing, standing, bending, loading/unloading, and working outdoors in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

Job description

AAMCI is hiring a Lead Maintenance employee to join our team at an 82-unit Section 8, multifamily property in Point Pleasant, WV.

M-F 8-5, on call premium: on call every other week

The community is an affordable housing community with Section 8 rent subsidy, providing housing to income-qualified residents. In this position, AAMCI expects strong customer service, safety management, skill set development and time management with the goal to create a home and strong communities for each of our residents to thrive.

This position participates in on-call emergency for evening, weekends, and Holidays, and pays a premium rate of pay for each call out.

AAMCI provides many training opportunities, and many paid opportunities to obtain higher levels of certificates.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

• Perform preventive maintenance

• Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools (hammers, hoists, saws, drill, and wrenches) to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices
• Complete work orders
• Order parts as necessary
• Recording type and cost of repair work
