Qualifications

• Candidates must have 3+ years of verifiable experience supervising food manufacturing equipment maintenance.
• Ammonia refrigeration experience/certification is highly desired.
• Experience working in a USDA environment is a plus; related training is beneficial.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and use computer software.

Responsibilities

• Manage plant maintenance employees and activities.
• Motivate and ensure safety of maintenance staff under supervision.
• Coach and develop a strong maintenance team.
• Meet production volume goals, reduce downtime and costs.
• Identify and resolve recurring equipment problems.
• Set up and oversee Preventive Maintenance activities.
• Prepare operational paperwork and reports.
• Maintain good relationships with USDA expectations.
