Job summary

Furlani Foods seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations in our North Liberty, IA facility. The role supervises technicians, coordinates maintenance work, and ensures equipment reliability and food-safety compliance.

You will partner with Production, QA, and Sanitation to minimize downtime and support schedules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience; supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Experience with GMPs and food safety requirements in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with CMMS and maintenance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop maintenance technicians for daily plant operations.
• Coordinate and prioritize work orders based on production needs.
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Maintain equipment records, histories, and PM documentation.
• Coordinate with QA, Sanitation, and Production to ensure clean, safe equipment.
• Manage outside contractors and equipment vendors as needed.
• Assist with equipment installations and capital projects.
