Job summary

Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operation of a nursing center, ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for patients and residents.

You will supervise the maintenance team, perform hands-on repairs, and coordinate preventive maintenance in compliance with applicable laws. The role requires a high school degree and basic training in electrical, plumbing, heating, and HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent with basic training in electrical, plumbing, heating and HVAC systems.
• Experience in maintenance supervision and hands-on repair work is preferred.
• Ability to coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance in a care facility.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and completes corrective and preventive maintenance of grounds and building in a timely manner following applicable laws.
• Supervises the maintenance department including hands-on maintenance work.
• Maintains fire alarm and emergency generator systems and ensures safety for patients and staff.
• Keeps records and reports; participates in budget planning.
• On-call for emergencies seven days a week, 24/7.
