Job summary

Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance staff member to perform routine repairs and support building upkeep. This role involves hands-on work with electrical and plumbing components, along with general facilities maintenance.

The candidate will operate on-site, help manage supply levels, and may take on supervisory duties when the supervisor is unavailable. A high school diploma and foundational trade skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent is required.
• Basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry is required.

Responsibilities

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers.
• Change filters on HVAC equipment.
• Carry, lift and stock supplies.
• Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in absence of supervisor.
