Job summary

Evergreen Retirement Community is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to assist the Director of Maintenance in upkeep of the property, grounds, and facilities. This role includes supervising staff, coordinating repairs, and ensuring safety and code compliance.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of related experience in building maintenance. Strong English communication and basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of related experience in building maintenance.
• Fluent in English to communicate with supervisors and residents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate refurbishments and repairs in apartments and common areas.
• Assist in supervising landscaping maintenance.
• Coordinate removal of garbage and trash for the property.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and safety standards.
• Assist in preparation and maintenance of the Maintenance Department budget.
• Maintain inventory controls and ensure staff comply with standards.
• Maintain positive relationships with contractors, vendors, residents, and staff.
• Promote a safe working environment and prevent accidents.
