Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at our Phenix City community. You will supervise daily tasks, manage inventories, and ensure all apartments are move-in ready while meeting safety and compliance standards.

You will coordinate capital projects, mentor staff, and maintain preventative maintenance programs, ensuring high-quality community upkeep and exceptional resident service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in apartment maintenance or a skilled trade such as HVAC, plumbing, or electrical.
• Valid Driver's License.
• EPA certification.
• CPO Certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and supervise the daily work of the maintenance team, ensuring high performance and accountability.
• Foster a team culture rooted in excellence, integrity, and Hawthorne's Live It values.
• Supervise vendor partners, ensuring work is completed timely, safely, and to company standards.
• Manage capital improvement projects, including obtaining bids, scheduling, and overseeing successful project execution.
• Proactively identify and resolve service needs throughout the community.
• Maintain and execute quarterly preventative maintenance programs to protect the asset.
• Oversee unit turn scheduling and execution to ensure move-in readiness and Hawthorne quality.
