Job summary

Midland Garage Door is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the facility, fabricate and repair equipment, and lead a manufacturing team in Salt Lake City. The role runs Mon-Fri, 8:30am-4:30pm, with a competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities include supervising PM tasks, prioritizing work, and ensuring safety and quality across shifts. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED with 3+ years in manufacturing and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required with manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading a team in a production or factory setting preferred.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of all equipment.
• Ensure PMs are completed as scheduled.
• Spot check equipment after repair to ensure quality.
• Order replacement and spare parts for equipment.
• Schedule PMs with other department heads to verify downtime.
• Prioritize tasks and allocate resources accordingly.
• Verify costs and follow proper bill paying procedures.
• Keep areas and work sites clean and organized.
• Distribute work orders for staff.
• Create and track project numbers, hours, and expenses.

We are looking for an experienced supervisor to help lead our team to success.

Summary:

The primary function of this position is to maintain facility and fabricate and fix equipment.

Essential Duties:

1. Knowledge of all equipment.
2. Make sure all PM's are getting completed as scheduled.
3. Spot check equipment after it has been repaired to ensure the job was done correctly.
4. Ordering all replacement and spare parts for equipment.
5. Schedule PM's with other Department Heads to verify production down times.
6. Knowledge of what and when to prioritize.
7. Verify costs and follow proper bill paying procedures.
8. Ensure area and work sites are clean and organized at the end of each shift or after completion of repair.
9. Distribute work orders for the staff.
10. Create and track project numbers, hours, and expenses.

Education and Experience:

High School or GED required, and 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred or; an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully to perform the essential responsibilities and duties as listed above.
