Job summary

Midland Garage Door in Salt Lake City is seeking a Receiving Associate to join a team of 4-6. The role supports material intake, accurate receiving, and timely material delivery to the production line.

Starting wage is $20.50/hr with day shift 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday. Occasional overtime and weekend shifts are available; safety and teamwork are emphasized in this hands-on position.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must read and interpret orders with accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs overhead and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability are essential.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Receive raw material and verify against packing slips.
• Code and receive goods to the proper location.
• Supply material to production line and other departments as needed.
• Assist in inventory and generate labels.
• Keep parts stocked and communicate low material levels to supervisors.

Receiving Associate

Day Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday

The primary function of this position is to safely and effectively work in a team of 4-6 following receiving instructions.

• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both orally and written, to ensure a clear understanding of work instructions and safety protocols.
• Have prompt and reliable attendance.
• Receive raw material and verify against the packing slip.
• Accurately code and receive goods to the proper location.
• Supply material as needed and/or requested to the production line and other departments.
• Assist in preparation for, and completion of inventory. Generate labels as required.
• Keep all parts adequately stocked. Communicate with Supervisor or Purchasing Department when materials/supplies are running low.

Education and Experience:

High School or GED required, and 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred or; an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties as listed above.
