What awaits you:

• Communicate with Maintenance Manager and Planner to determine upcoming work schedules
• Assist in planning daily work schedules and assign tasks to skilled tradesmen
• Communicate concerns from the workforce regarding equipment condition and repairs
• Coordinate with supervisors and managers to schedule repairs and projects to minimize downtime
• Support TPM activities
• Manage and track work orders using the system
• Manage workforce to maximize productivity
• Track time and attendance
• Conduct daily facility inspections to identify abnormalities
• Participate in training and development activities for skilled tradesmen
• Support the local apprenticeship program

What you will need to succeed:

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education preferred
• Previous maintenance supervisory experience in manufacturing is a plus
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Excellent attendance record
• Proficiency with computers
