Maintenance Supervisor Job, Moncure, NC

This position is responsible for managing the department responsible for the repair, installation, and maintenance of all manufacturing equipment and machinery to ensure the efficient and continuous functioning of the plant.

Maintenance Supervisor Job Responsibilities

• Manage 3-5 maintenance employees
• Manage a preventative maintenance and work order system
• Manage several projects simultaneously
• Troubleshoot various types of equipment and controls
• Repair equipment and machines in the plant departments to ensure efficient operations
• Install new equipment such as pumps, valves, pipes, compressors, and agitators
• Participate in resolving equipment or operational problems with Production personnel
• Perform preventative maintenance according to schedule
• Maintain good work practices, work safely, and comply with all HSE regulations and company policies
• Manage maintenance department budget and scheduling

Maintenance Supervisor Job Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or Higher
• Minimum 5 years industrial maintenance experience
• On-call availability and experience
• Problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Attention to detail and compliance with HSE and company policies
• Ability to do physical work and work in confined spaces
• Experience with troubleshooting PLCs
• Ability to support a 24/7 operation in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years in maintenance management in an industrial setting
• Experience in the chemical industry
• Welding and fabrication skills
• Ability to read blueprints
• Electrical troubleshooting skills
• Allen Bradley PLC troubleshooting experience
• LME Certification

Education

• Associate’s Degree or higher in Manufacturing Engineering Technology

Experience

• At least 5 years of maintenance management experience
