As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall operation of the maintenance department and the appearance and working order of the apartment community.

Compensation: $60k to $65k plus quarterly bonus and excellent benefits

Job Responsibilities

1. Supervise Maintenance staff daily, including delegation of work orders, special projects, and managing time effectively.
2. Inspect and oversee the completion of work orders.
3. Handle HVAC, boiler, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and other service requests.
4. Mentor and train new and existing maintenance staff members.
5. Participate in interviewing and selecting new maintenance team members.
6. Provide monthly written energy management recommendations for the building.
7. Identify capital improvements and obtain estimates/bids.
8. Assist in preparing the maintenance budget.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel, apartment, or hospital maintenance/engineering with at least 2 years of supervisory experience leading a team.
• Excellent customer service and computer skills.
• Ability to build, mentor, and train a team.
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, appliances, water heaters, chillers/boilers, and HVAC. EPA Universal Certification is preferred.
• Proven experience managing preventative maintenance programs and capital projects.
