Job Purpose:

This role provides daily support to plan Sponsors, ensuring compliance with ERISA regulations, and keeps stakeholders informed about regulatory changes and plan issues. Responsibilities include overseeing compliance, testing, supporting audits, and researching plan design changes. The role also involves mentoring team members and may offer remote work options.

Job Duties:
  • Conduct quarterly check-in calls with assigned sponsors.
  • Serve as the primary contact for plan activities.
  • Process fund change notices semi-annually or as needed.
  • Communicate plan changes with Financial Advisors.
  • Manage document updates required by IRS or ad-hoc requests.
  • Research and resolve compliance issues.
  • Review profit-sharing calculations at year-end.
  • Coordinate with Financial Advisors for plan audits and participant meetings.
  • Manage mailing of marketing materials and annual notices.
  • Oversee annual census data collection and government filings like 5500.
  • Support sales onboarding, fee analysis, and document preparation.
  • Provide backup support to other team members.
  • Complete InvestorsView Reg R reviews.
Operations Duties:
  • Process manual payrolls and deposits for specific plans.
  • Review annual fee tiers and perform special projects.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • Associate's degree in business or equivalent experience; Bachelor's preferred.
  • Minimum five years in financial services.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, with ability to adapt tools to support needs.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially via phone.
  • Self-motivated with good administrative skills.
  • Basic knowledge of retirement plan regulations.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
Basis Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Five years in financial services.
