Flaherty & Collins Properties is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the on-site maintenance team at a multifamily community in Indianapolis. You will oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections, ensuring safe, efficient, and welcoming living spaces for residents.

The role requires hands-on maintenance expertise across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, with 3+ years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience in maintenance operations, preferably in multifamily housing.
• HVAC/EPA certification or equivalent field credentials are required.
• Strong leadership and team-development abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the property's maintenance team to ensure timely, high-quality service.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections for all systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Coordinate with the Property Manager to prioritize requests and projects.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracted work for quality and timeliness.
• Maintain inventory of tools and equipment and promote safety compliance.
• Respond to emergency maintenance situations and participate in on-call rotations.

Weekend work is required as needed.Physical tasks are required, along with other duties as assigned.What Makes You a Great Fit:You’re certified in HVAC/EPA and other relevant fields.You have 3 or more years of proven experience in maintenance operations, preferably in multifamily housing.
