Job summary

Fairfield is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Houston to lead a hands-on team that keeps our communities safe, beautiful, and fully operational. You will oversee repairs, drive preventative maintenance, and handle after-hours emergencies to ensure resident satisfaction and property preservation.

Three+ years of maintenance experience, HVAC-EPA certification, a valid driver’s license, and supervisory skills are required.

Qualifications

• HVAC-EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification required.
• Three or more years of hands-on apartment/building maintenance experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Experience with Yardi or similar property management software.
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and monitor preventative maintenance programs.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you'll lead a team dedicated to keeping our communities safe, beautiful, and fully operational. This role combines hands‑on maintenance expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure resident satisfaction and property preservation.

Property Maintenance

• Oversee and perform maintenance repairs across the property.
• Schedule and monitor preventative maintenance programs.

• Ensure compliance with safety and company policies.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC‑EPA (Type II) or EPA Universal certification is required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license strongly preferred. Associates hired without a CPO license will be required to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Three or more years' hands‑on apartment or building maintenance experience required.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Experience with Yardi or other property management accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair work.
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• A valid driver's license is required.

*The sign‑on bonus, less usual deductions, will be paid following the completion of 90 days of employment. Current Fairfield associates are not eligible to receive a sign‑on bonus.

Estimated Rate of Pay :

$29.81 - $38.75 This position is non‑exempt; the range above reflects hourly rates.

The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity*. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any). In addition to base salary, Fairfield offers all full time associates the following, upon meeting eligibility requirements:
