Job summary

Conifer Realty is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Highland Park, NJ community. You will lead maintenance staff, oversee work orders, and ensure safety and resident satisfaction in an affordable housing setting.

The role requires 5+ years in residential maintenance with supervision, HVAC certification, and strong knowledge of inspections, preventive maintenance, and Fair Housing. On-call responsiveness and a two-bedroom apartment benefit are included.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of apartment or residential maintenance experience with supervision.
• HAVC certification and knowledge of inspections, preventive maintenance and Fair Housing.
• Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and safety compliance.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors and maintenance schedules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi or similar systems.
• Reliable transportation and ability to respond within 30 minutes for on-call emergencies.
• High school diploma or GED (technical or vocational training preferred).

Salary: $26.00 - $32.00 | Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 40hrs | On-Call Rotation

Work schedules may include Saturdays, based on property performance needs such as occupancy levels, leasing activity, and rent collections. When required, weekend coverage will be scheduled on a rotating basis and aligned with business priorities.
