Job summary

Conifer Realty seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead apartment maintenance across its affordable housing communities in Highland Park, NJ. You will supervise a team, oversee work orders, and ensure resident safety and satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring HVAC certification, 5+ years of maintenance and supervision, and experience with budgets, vendors, and preventive maintenance. Proficiency in MS Office and Yardi is a plus; on-call responsiveness is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of apartment or residential maintenance experience with supervision.
• HVAC certification, inspections, preventive maintenance, and Fair Housing knowledge.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and safety compliance.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, and maintenance schedules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi or similar systems.
• Reliable transportation and 30-minute on-call response capability.
• High school diploma or GED; technical/vocational training preferred.

Salary: $26.00 - $32.00 | Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 40hrs | On-Call Rotation

You’re organized, dependable, and skilled in both leadership and repair work. You bring:

When required, weekend coverage will be scheduled on a rotating basis and aligned with business priorities.
