An established industry player is seeking a Maintenance Shift Technician to support the maintenance organization. This role involves ensuring all plant equipment is reliable and maintained, participating in safety programs, and supporting process improvement initiatives. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Shift Technician is required to support the maintenance organization and process. This position will be working closely with other Maintenance Teams and Production personal to ensure the plant equipment performs to the need of the plant. The Maintenance Supervisor will define other duties and responsibilities.
*This is a night shift position.
The Maintenance Shift Technician must have:
Education and/or Experience:5 years related industrial maintenance experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must have ability to operate electronic calculator to accomplish these tasks.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
