PMMA (Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America®) is seeking a Maintenance Lead in Emporia who will supervise maintenance staff and oversee community, grounds and equipment upkeep. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and supporting a resident‑centered living environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, hands-on experience with facility systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) and prior supervisory experience.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in plant maintenance, electrical and plumbing systems, HVAC and equipment repair.
• Experience as a supervisor or lead desired.

• Supervise the day‑to‑day activities of the maintenance staff to ensure community, grounds and equipment upkeep in line with current standards and policies.
• Adhere to federal, state and local regulations and the directives of the Environmental Services/Executive Director.
• Promote resident-centered care by treating the community as residents’ home and focusing on quality of life.

A Maintenance Lead is responsible for supervising the day‑to‑day activities of the maintenance staff in ensuring successful Community, grounds and equipment maintenance in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, Community policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Environmental Services Director or Executive Director. Advances the value that the resident comes first. The employee values the Community as the residents’ home and works to create attributes of home and models person centered care.

Education, Experience And/Or Training

• High school diploma or equivalent
