Job summary

PMMA (Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America®) is seeking a Maintenance Lead in Emporia who will supervise maintenance staff and oversee community, grounds and equipment upkeep. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and supporting a resident‑centered living environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, hands-on experience with facility systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) and prior supervisory experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in plant maintenance, electrical and plumbing systems, HVAC and equipment repair.
Experience as a supervisor or lead desired.

Responsibilities

Supervise the day‑to‑day activities of the maintenance staff to ensure community, grounds and equipment upkeep in line with current standards and policies.
Adhere to federal, state and local regulations and the directives of the Environmental Services/Executive Director.
Promote resident-centered care by treating the community as residents’ home and focusing on quality of life.
