Job summary

Centerspace seeks a maintenance technician to oversee and perform maintenance across our portfolio in the Monticello, KY region, ensuring property safety, reliability, and tenant satisfaction.

You will work with the Community Manager and regional teams, handling HVAC, electrical, plumbing tasks, and participate in on-call rotations, with benefits including PTO, holidays, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of maintenance experience.
• Exceptional customer service skills and ability to interact with tenants.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and self-motivate.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, doors, locks, and hardware.
• Conduct property inspections and coordinate tenant improvements.
• Respond to emergencies and after-hours on-call rotations.
• Maintain operating logs and inventory for mechanical systems.
• Assist Community Manager with maintenance staffing and vendor coordination.
