Job summary

Centerspace in Monticello, MN is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician/Coordinator to ensure efficient building operations across our Monticello portfolio. You will perform preventative maintenance and supervise staff as needed, coordinating with Community/Regional Managers to support tenant improvements and capital projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks to ensure goals and time frames are met.
• Exceptional customer-service skills; demonstrated ability to maintain strong working relations with both internal and external clients.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex operational matters on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Conducts property inspections and determines preventative maintenance requirements.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and life safety systems.
• Coordinate with Community/Regional Managers on tenant improvements and projects.
• Assist and back up maintenance staff, vendors, and contractors.
• Respond to emergencies and after-hours on-call situations.
• Maintain operating logs, inventories, and records related to building systems.
