Job summary

Centerspace is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to support the Service team in preparing new apartments for residents and handling routine repairs. You will assist with building and grounds upkeep and provide excellent customer service to residents.

Responsibilities include responding to service requests, performing plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting tasks, and coordinating with the team to keep common areas in good condition.

Qualifications

• Must be available for on-call work (evenings, weekends, overnight on a rotating schedule).
• Valid driver's license required.
• Willingness to learn and perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall and painting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs, painting and drywall.
• Maintain efficient operation and upkeep of property buildings and grounds.
• Perform routine maintenance on vacant units prior to new resident occupancy.
• Respond to resident service requests and document work orders.
