Job summary

Synthomer plc is seeking a Maintenance Planner for our Jefferson Hills, PA site. The role focuses on driving asset performance through data-driven planning and preventive strategies, coordinating preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks.

You will lead scheduling, collaborate with Maintenance Supervisors and Contractors, and analyze work orders to optimize performance. A strong mechanical/electrical background and SAP proficiency are essential for improving reliability and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; a degree in mechanical, industrial, or electrical fields is preferred.
• 2 to 5 years of background in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or operations coordination.
• Strong knowledge of work management processes, labor estimating and resource balancing.
• Strong reading of engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Build daily, weekly, and long-term maintenance schedules for preventive, predictive, and corrective tasks.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule manpower, resources, and priorities.
• Act as central link between maintenance technicians, operations, storeroom staff, and outside contractors.
• Ensure all work orders and maintenance log items are reviewed, entered, and closed in SAP/CMMS.
